Camouflage Wing and large part of fuselage covered. Fuselage appears to be mottled from front to back.
Markings
Remarks Still from a Luftwaffe film, showing a runway full of Komets. The presence of an oxygen filler point on the forward nose strongly suggests this an early Komet, possibly from the first batch of 70. The location of the starting cart supports this, since on later Komets the electrical receptacle is on the nose. On old Komets a hatch near the engine had to be opened to plug in the electrical power.
