East Fortune Me 163B 191659

Very nice view of the left cockpit side. On the left side the wooden trim wheel and the housing of the trim gears can be seen. To the right and above the trim wheel, a small hydraulic cylinder is fitted to the fuselage side. Right of the middle the simple throttle can be seen, including the starter button of the engine positioned inside the cylindrical base plate of the throttle. At the bottom, the T-Stoff tank is held in place by two vertical and one horizontal straps. The tank's exterior appears to be coated with something like liquid rubber.
