Freeman Field Komet

This picture shows the Komet further disassembled, with the left wing removed too, and placed in a custom-made stand. It shows the front fuselage mottling nicely, and again the MK 108 gun port.

The title of the source does create some confusion on the location. Still, experts agree on the location being Freeman Field, not Wright Field.
