United States Army Air Forces Me 163B FE500 / T-2-500

Nice left rear view of 191301. It has no code applied, possible a sign of not having flown operationally. Both Balkenkreuz and swastika are white only. The gun bay panel appears to be in the base color of the fuselage (most likely RLM 76), most likely coming from another Komet. It can be assumed that the Komets were taken apart before shipping. It was also thought that this was a locally manufactured replacement panel (in bare metal), but the colors and the mottles on the rear upper edge suggest a donor part.
