Intermediate profiles from the Späte drawing

Bob Adams digitally measured not only the root section from the Späte drawing, but also the intermediate profiles at ribs 2 to 9 (rib 1 being the root rib, shown here). It is possible that not the root rib, but perhaps rib 2 is the Göttingen 765 we are after. The coordinate tables and thickness and camber data are presented below.

The actual Komet wing has 19 ribs, whereas the Späte drawing only shows nine. A possible explanation was presented by Roger Teagarden, who worked in the aerospace industry for a long time: "For prototyping purposes, it would be natural for a wing profile set to show only some of the rib profiles. Roughly half in a small aircraft is quite a normal practice. So the Spate drawing could actually be correct not only in number but in profile."
