Remains: Werneuchen

Paul van der Linden visited Werneuchen in July 2001, and made the following photos. He reported that the base still looked very impressive. The hangars, shelters, control tower and ramps are still present, but not in a great shape. The taxiway to the runway was in top condition though. The old Russian housing area is being renovated, and a new school is built, only some 50 meters from the old hangars.
