A selection of photos of prototypes, that were painted RLM02 as per RLM instructions. The first three show a rather dark and warm representation of the color, but the fourth looks quite a lot like uncamouflaged Komets. But in not a single photo of grey Komets, the color appears as in the first three photos. I conclude that this is too much of a coincidence, and therefore I think they were not painted RLM02.
