Freeman Field Komet

The 'V' shaped spray pattern on the lower front fuselage, and the mottle pattern on the front fuselage identifies this aircraft as the 'Freeman Field Komet'. The MK 108 installation in the wing root is clearly visible. Apart from the wings and vertcial tail, the canopy, C-Stoff hatch and Morane radio antenna have all been removed. The hangar visible behind the C-46 shows a marked resemblance to the hangar seen in seven Komets on trucks photo.
