Fabrice Fanton (France) sent this report on his Flasback Me 163A model. Fabrice wrote that he built his model built straight from the box, with the exception of the tail skid which was scratchbuilt. Two holes need to be drilled in the nose: one for a little tube and one for a small ring. The plastic parts fitted well, also because they are not complex. The transparent part are good enough. The decals are very good. The RLM02 paint job is a mix of Humbrol paints according to the IPMS Stockholm site: 34 parts H29 (dark earth), 13 parts H25 (blue), 51 parts H34 (white), and 2 parts H82 (orange). A complex receipe, Fabrice admits! The kit is varnished with Tamiya gloss cote (from a spray can) and highly polished. The results of this can be seen in the photo below.
Concluding a top and lower view of the model.
